Why Spain?

Europe having 7-8 associations related to heart diseases so scope is more there. Spain is very famous Actions aimed at preventing coronary heart diseases must be started early in infancy and should involve the promotion of a healthy diet and lifestyle. Valencia is working hard to combat childhood obesity throughout the state, which can be leads to Heart diseases. To reduce the number of deaths from heart diseases, European Union countries agreed to tackle the underlying health determinants behind cardiovascular health in its 2014-2020 health programme.

Pediatric Cardiac Diseases

In some cases, children are born with heart defects or abnormalities. Some popular Pediatric Cardiac Diseases are arrhythmia i.e. an irregular heartbeat, which is either too fast as Bradycardia like or too slow as Tachycardia. If blood flow is not proper to the heart muscle then it is call Angina. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome is a complex and rare heart defect present at birth (congenital).

In childhood a disorder which involves both the heart and lungs problems, called Pediatric Cardiopulmonary disease. Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) is the visceral fat deposit around the heart and is commonly increased in obese subjects. EAT is related to Cardio Metabolic risk factors and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in adults, but this relationship is not well known in children. (MI) Myocardial infarction is rare in childhood and adolescence. Children usually have either an acute inflammatory condition of the coronary arteries or an anomalous origin of the left coronary artery (LCA). Peripheral vascular diseases (PVDs) are circulation disorders that affect blood vessels outside of the heart and brain. In PVD, blood vessels are narrowed. Narrowing is usually caused by arteriosclerosis.

Under this session, we will be discussed more about the common problem of the baby heart diseases as Pediatric arrhythmia, Cardiopulmonary Diseases, Cardio Metabolic Disease, Pediatric Nuclear or Interventional Cardiology, Myocardial infarction, Pediatric Angina as well as Hypoplastic left heart syndrome of child heart.

Pediatric Cardiovascular Diseases

Cardiovascular Diseases are types of heart disease observed in children and adolescents. Rheumatic heart diseases are thought to result from an autoimmune response, but the exact pathogenesis remains unclear. As many as 39% of patients with acute rheumatic fever may develop varying degrees of pancarditis with associated valve insufficiency, heart failure , pericarditis, and even death.

This track include more about the Congenital Cardiac Diseases (meaning that children are born with it),  Rheumatic heart diseases, Atherosclerosis, Cardiac Stroke, Arterial and Ventricular Septal Defects, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Aortic Stenosis, Cardiac Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism etc.

Inflammatory Diseases of Heart

Inflammation is common for heart disease and stroke patients and is thought to be a sign or atherogenic response. The various types of Inflammatory Heart Diseases are Myocarditis (disease marked by inflammation of the heart muscle); Kawasaki disease is a rare childhood illness that affects the blood vessels. Pericardial diseases can present clinically as acute pericarditis, pericardial effusion, cardiac tamponade, and constrictive pericarditis. Infective endocarditis is a form of endocarditis. It is an inflammation of the inner tissues of the heart. These are the main inflammatory defects for Babies Heart.

Under this track various sub-tracks is there who give more information about the inflammatory heart disorders as Bacterial endocarditis, Kawasaki Disease, Myocarditis Pericardial disease, Heterodoxy Syndrome etc.

Neoplastic Disorder of Pediatric Heart

Cardiac Tumors represent a small but serious long-term risk to pediatric heart transplant recipientsThe primary cardiac finding in people with the tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is the presence of rhabdomyomas. Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a cancer made up of cells that normally develop into cardiac muscles. A cardiac fibroma  (also known as cardiac fibromatosis, fibrous hamartoma, or fibroelastic hamartoma) represents a collection of fibroblasts interspersed among large amounts of collagen. These are very rare in children’s but these can be developed after the heart transplantation because of less immunity.

This session include the title related to Pediatric cardiac cancer as Cardiac Tuberous Sclerosis, Fibrosarcoma and Sarcoma, Myxoma and Angiomas, Rhabdomyomas and Rhabdomyosarcomas, Mesotheliomas and Fibroelastic Papillomas and Lipomas and Papillary Tumors.

Medical Management of Pediatric Heart Disorder

The early medical management of Heart Failure in infancy, childhood, and adolescence is necessary to save a child life. Pharmacologic therapy represents the mainstay of treatment for heart failure in children. Regenerating heart tissue through stem cell therapy is the new technique to cure the heart diseases.

Other than the use of cardiac drugs, this session include the title of one therapy as well that is Stem Cell Therapy and most commonly medicine use to treat or prevent the cardiac diseases are Diuretics, Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor, Beta Blockers, Cardiac glycosides, Antiplatelet agent, Prostaglandins inhibitors, Angiotensin receptor blockers etc. These are the main category of medicines used to treat the heart disorders.

Cardiovascular Development or Cardiac Surgery

Heart surgery is done to correct problems with the heart. After the medical approach or for the severe conditions cardiac surgery is the option to treat the cardiac diseases. Anaesthesiologist’s involvement for the purpose of diagnostic and interventional procedures in cardiac catheterization laboratory has been evolving particularly since last two decades. Sedation and Anaesthesia is requiring to unconscious the patient to precede the cardiac surgery. Cardiac surgical process includes various terms as cardiovascular surgery is surgery on the heart or great vessels performed by cardiac surgeons, Open heart surgery in the chest is cut open and surgery is performed on the muscles, valves, or arteries of the heart and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) which is useful in preventing sudden death in patients with known, sustained ventricular tachycardia or fibrillation. After the certain time the cardiac surgery, monitoring and the evolution is also important.

This tracks mainly discuss about the various surgical procedure are used to treat the cardiac problems as heart transplantation, Modern beating heart surgery, Neonatal Heart Surgery, Pediatric Cardiac Emergency, Cardiovascular Implant Devices as well as Patent ductus arteriosus and laparoscopy and the modern advancements in the surgical procedure.

Diagnosis of Cardiac Problem

Pediatric cardiologists are trained to diagnose and treat heart problems in infants, children and young adults. Severe heart disease generally becomes evident during the first few months after birth. Some babies are blue or have very low blood pressure shortly after birth. Other defects cause breathing difficulties, feeding problems, or poor weight gain. Pediatric cardiologists are help to diagnose the heart diseases based on the medical and family histories, risk factors, a physical exam, and the results from tests and procedures as Echocardiography  that is very basic test to check whether heart is having any problem or not. After the diagnosis only patient risk factor will determine and treatment will start.

Other than the symptoms of cardiac disorder this session also discuss about various tests are used to diagnose heart disease as Pediatric angiocardiography, Cardiac Solography, Electrophysiology test, Heart MRI, Endothelial Function Evaluation and Pediatric Nuclear Cardiology etc. Pediatric Nuclear cardiology studies use non-invasive techniques to assess myocardial blood flow, evaluate the pumping function of the heart as well as visualize the size and location of a heart attack.

New Research in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

Research in Cardiology field comprises all aspects related to the physiology and pathology of the structure and function of the heart and the cardiovascular system, including their regulation by neuronal and humoral mechanisms, Pharmacology etc. To see the drug effects on heart, scientists prefer to do clinical trials on the animals. Because of long term Malnutrition also cardiac disorder will develop in body and about the sudden cardiac death (SCD) is the unexpected death caused by loss of heart function or cardiac stroke. With the international Pediatric Cardiology Meetings 2015 or events we will get to know about the new advancements coming from different research.

This session mainly focus on the research on cardiology filed as cardiac diseases physiology, cardiovascular genetics or its Epidemiology and Computational Biology of Heart and reason reflected Sudden Cardiac Death.

The “International Conference and Exhibition on Pediatric Cardiology” will be hosted at Valencia, Spain, Europe during August 25-27, 2015, with the innovative theme Challenges in Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Disease. This conference mainly focuses on spreading the awareness about challenges in this field and how to prevent the cardiac diseases. We are awaiting a great scientific faculty from Europe as well as other continents and expect a highly interesting scientific as well as a representative event. The short name for this event is Pediatric Cardiology 2015.

Importance & Scope:

Pediatric Cardiologists care for patients with congenital or acquired cardiac and cardiovascular abnormalities. The scope of Pediatric Cardiology practice is extensive. Pediatric Cardiologists evaluate and care for fetuses, neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Special areas of clinical and academic interest include: Intensive Cardiac Care, Cardiac Catheterization and Intervention, Electrophysiology, Heart MRI, Fetal Pediatric Cardiology, Heart Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Preventive Pediatric Cardiology, Patent Ductus Arteriosus, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Cardiac Failure and Transplantation, and Pulmonary Hypertension.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the type of heart disease that a baby is born with.  In reality, it is a defect, or abnormality of the heart or blood vessels near the heart, and not a disease, so many people use the term “congenital heart defect”. The majority of children born today with CHD will survive and with proper treatment be able to lead a normal or near-normal life.  Some kinds of CHD are mild and may not be diagnosed in infancy. Heart Murmurs is also very common disorder soon after birth.

With the international Pediatric cardiology Congress, we will expect the expert gathering from Universe so that new idea or new research will come with discussion at the conference and that will be fruitful to children suffering from cardiac diseases or the prevention of cardiac diseases.
